Friends of the Library
The Friends of the Penn Hills Library is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing together
people who are interested in the well being of the library. The Friends work to provide programming, furnishings and library materials
for those items not included in the regular library budget. The Friends welcome gifts of time, money and materials
from their members and the community. These donations are channeled into gifts that benefit the library and its patrons.
The officers of the organization are:

- Sylvia Yurchison, Treasurer
To join the Friends, please complete a membership form which is available at the circulation desks and on the information table on the lower level.

Membership dues are to be paid at the time of registration.
This can be done at the library or by mail with the

Semi-Annual Book Sale
The Friends have two major fundraising activities - the spring and fall book sales.
You may donate gently used adult or children's books, puzzles, games, records, videos, DVDs, CDs,
cassettes and magazines (no National Geographics) for our sale. Please deposit your items in the donations book drop located near the Friends' room on the second floor.
Another recepticle is located in the vending area on the first floor.
