Mesoamerican writing systems are unique forms of written language which incorporate culturally significant artistic elements into a distinct visual narrative.Linguistic Anthropologist, Dr. Michel, will explain the display and design of Mesoamerican hieroglyphic texts focusing on those of the Maya, Aztec, Epi-Olmec, and Teotihuacanos.Registration is required.
