Penn Hills Library is partnering with the Penn Hills Community Development Corporation (PHCDC) to host a Community Photography Showcase in December 2023!
The mission of the Penn Hills Community Photography Showcase is to celebrate the talented photographers in our community and to bring patrons together for an exciting holiday event at the Penn Hills Library.
If you wish to enter the contest for a chance to win a cash prize:
Complete the application form (see below) and submit up to 2 digital photographs to the following email address by Friday, November 17th at 5:00pm firstname.lastname@example.org
Bring framed copies of your accepted photographs to the library no later than November 29th at 5:00pm.
Photographs will be judged and prizes distributed at the Community Photography Showcase on Saturday, December 2nd at 6:00pm.
Please read and review the following rules carefully before filling out the attached application.
Anyone can enter the contest even if they are not a resident of Penn Hills
All participants under the age of 18 must have a guardian sign the application form
All photos must be of Penn Hills or taken within the boundaries of Penn Hills
Photographs must not exceed 8in x 10in
Every individual can submit a maximum of 2 photographs
Photographs must be submitted digitally alongside a completed application by no later than 5:00pm on November 17th and approved.
Accepted photographs must be framed and ready to hang via wire and brought to the Penn Hills Library by no later than November 29th at 5pm. You will be notified via email if your photographs are accepted.
All accepted photographs will be displayed at the Penn Hills Library for the community to view on Friday, December 1st and Saturday, December 2nd. Winners will be announced on Saturday, December 2nd at 6:00pm at the library during the Community Photography Showcase.
PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR PHOTOGRAPH(S) WITH A COMPLETED APPLICATION TO THE FOLLOWING EMAIL ADDRESS NO LATER THAN 5:00 pm ON NOVEMBER 17TH, 2023.
