Better Read Than Dead Book Club

In this book club, we will read and discuss books from the mystery, thriller, and horror genres. explore the haunts of ghosts, vampires, serial killers, murderers, and more!

Graphic Novel Book Club

Join us as we discuss the art and storytelling in various graphic novels. Whether you read graphic novels all the time, or have never read them before, we hope you give it a try!

Examples of books we have read include, Saga Vol 1. by Brian K. Vaughan, Ducks by Kate Beaton, Squire by Nadia Shammas, and The Black Panther Party: A Graphic Novel History by David F. Walker.

Mystery Book Club

Are you a fan of all things creepy and curious? Join us as we read, share, and talk shop about the mystery books that intrigue us!

Examples of books we have read include, In the Woods by Tana French, The Paris Apartment by Lucy Foley, Blood Grove by Walter Mosley, and The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman!

Fiction Addiction Book Club

Enjoy a cup of tea while discussing novels from a variety of genres including literary fiction and historical fiction!

Cookbook Club

Share tips and try recipes as we explore cooking and baking with a different cookbook each month! You are never required to bring anything, but if you would like to bring in a recipe you tried you are more than welcome.

Examples of books we have read include, Magnolia Table by Joanna Gaines, Rosewater & Orange Blossoms by Maureen Abood, The Blue Zones Kitchen by Dan Buettner, and Indian-ish by Priya Krishna.

Science Fiction & Fantasy Book Club

Travel to new worlds and galaxies far away as we read and discuss books in the science fiction and fantasy genres!

Examples of books we have read include, Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir, The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel, and The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet by Becky Chambers.

Book Club FAQs

How do I join a book club?

All you have to do to be a part of our book clubs is read the monthly book and visit the library on the designated day to discuss it with others! If you miss a month, no worries! Come whenever you can.

How do I get the book?

You can put a copy on hold for yourself, but we also have a limited number of each book behind the front desk that you can request in-person!

Does it cost anything to join?

Nope! All of our book clubs are completely free to join, no registration required!
